Disneyland Paris

This is the biggest theme park in France and number one tourist attraction as well. It offers a wide choice of sensational attractions, breath-taking parades and a fairytale backdrop. It features two theme parks – Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park which are open all year long. Disneyland is about one-fifth the size of Paris. It’s easy to get to from Paris, and from the UK. The park has also Disneyland hotel to stay while visiting it.

Futuroscope

This theme park is all about multimedia, cinema, audio-visual and robotic technology of the future with a stunning ultra-modern buildings. The park offers a large variety of attractions to suit every age group and makes a fun day out for the whole family with a help of different shows, cinema, games and interactive attractions. The park offers lots of impressive 3D screenings in its gigantic cinemas.

Puy du Fou

It offers interpretation of historical events and includes medieval cities and villages, forests, a fort and 19th century town. You’ll also see different shows. For example, Le Signe du Triomphe show (Triumph’s Sign), which takes place in the magnificent Gallo-Roman Stadium, a replica of the Roman Coliseum and takes you into the 3rd century A.D. when Gallic France and Rome were at loggerheads. It has also three hotels for their visitors.

France Miniature

This is the biggest miniature theme park in Europe. On the 5 hectares of land visitors can see all France in one day with 116 replicas of the famous monuments and 150 model landscapes.

Space City

Explore the famous 53m-high Ariane 5 rocket or set off in the Soyuz spacecraft. Visitors can actually go on board the MIR Space Station, an exact replica of the famous Russian space station used for ground testing. The park has many attractions such as the IMAX, a giant screen as high as a six-storey building that screen films made in space.

Terra Botanica

If you are interested in plants and the plant world and how it interacts in different parts of the globe then this place is for you. Opened in 2010, the theme park offers interactive exhibits for all the family, as well as four different ‘worlds’, rides through the park, a cinema, games and more. It has also areas for picnics as well as its own restaurant and cafes. Don’t miss the 3D film”Journey to the Centre of the Plant” following the journey of a raindrop through the tree in a seat that moves you around and mirrors the journey.
